- 230 Webhannet Drive, Crescent Beach Wells, Maine
- "Webhannet" meaning "at the clear stream" a term the Abenaki Indians referred to the whole area as.
- This beautiful beach house is the oldest house on the beach! It was originally built in 1890 and has weathered many storms!
- Our home rests on a patch of land which divides the marsh and the sea. The marsh has two estuaries that help control the roaring waves and stormy tides of winter by dragging the sand out past the breakers forming a protective sand bar off the shore. As the gulf stream pushes in during the late spring the sand washes back in blanketing the coastline with sand and providing us with a beautiful beach to run and play on, walk on or just burry our toes in and relax.
